What we do

We maintain and improve our city trees and ravines through projects and initiatives.

Maintenance and improvement initiatives are funded by the assessments paid by the residents of Pasadena Hills.

Our TreeCityUSA allows us to be eligible for the T.R.I.M. grant programs and discounted services.

The TREE RESOURCE IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE (TRIM) grant is a competitive, cost-share tree care program administered by the Department in partnership with the Missouri Community Forest Council which provides funding to assist government entities and nonprofit groups with the management, improvement, or conservation of trees on public lands.

The program is designed to assist Missouri communities in initiating or significantly improving their efforts to care for the publicly owned trees. Funding is used to encourage communities to have a sustainable, balanced, and comprehensive community forestry program based on a current tree inventory, managed with guidance of a community forestry professional, and that includes the promotion of community forest benefits.
